In its fledgeling years CVK was founded as a partnership in 1994, with the original directors, in a small unit solely concentrating on the manufacture of rectangular ductwork and structural steel work. As it expanded it became a limited company in 1998,, with the growth of the business the company moved into bigger premises, employing more staff and purchasing more up to date equipment, and gained our ISO 9002 accreditation.
In 2013 with a new vision, we expanded into the distribution of spiral, fittings and stores to compliment the rectangular manufacture, meaning that we became East Kent’s biggest manufacturer and distributor of ductwork and associated products. This further expansion meant additional premises, investing in more staff, the best in the industry was recruited.
With the expansion into distribution, our supply chain was enhanced with partnerships, with leading name manufacturers both at home and internationally. That enables us to supply the whole ventilation package.
As we expanded we rapidly outgrew our premises , and in the spring of 2023 it was decided that after nearly 30 years on the same industrial estate, it was time to move on to bigger better premises.
In December 2023 we successfully relocated to our new home, making us more efficient more organised with bigger stocks and generally a much nicer environment for our staff. Along the way we also expanded our company fleet from one van to today’s fleet of 8.
Here’s to the future, whilst we’ve come a long way from our small family business roots , we still have the same values, and still believe in providing a great service at a competitive price.
